RON STRIMPFEL, Director of Building | Licensed Contractor - Master Builder Certified
You could say that Ron has building and construction in his blood. Growing up, he loved to shadow his Dad around lumberyards, dreaming of building projects of his own. He’s a third-generation woodworker and has been living his passion for building for over forty years.
For Ron, it’s personal. You see, he believes that the quality of a man’s work reflects the quality of his character. Even now, he personally supervises all his projects. From the very beginning to completion, where he’s fabricating the finish carpentry himself, that character goes into every step of the project.
When Ron is not on the job, he enjoys his life in the Lowcountry. You’re likely to find him on a basketball court or ball field. He’s always been passionate about sports, and coaching the younger generation brings him great pleasure.
PAT STRIMPFEL, Chief Operating Officer
When we think of life in the “Lowcountry,” many of us think of live oaks lining the driveway, dripping with the romance of Spanish moss. That’s where Patricia Strimpfel’s heart lies. Indeed, they started this business years ago in Ohio. However, her love affair with the Lowcountry drives her vision and influences her work daily. She feels lucky to be able to raise her family here and have them all work and live together to make custom home dreams come true!
When she’s not looking after the business and taking care of clients, she’s spending time with her biggest blessing: her family! They are a family who enjoys participating in and watching sports! Her kids were all athletes, and that legacy has continued to her grandkids. You will often find her in the bleachers or cheering from the sidelines.
MOLLY MCDONOUGH, Ambassador
As with any business, Reclamation By Design has many moving parts, as Ambassador, Molly is fulfilling her lifelong dream of being part of the family legacy. She ensures a positive and memorable experience for our clients during their homebuilding journey. Molly focuses on enhancing client satisfaction, expertly managing the closing day process, and curating personalized gifting experiences. Her role combines a passion for customer service excellence, and a commitment to creating lasting impressions, making every homeowner’s transition a truly special milestone.
One of her favorite family things to do here in the Lowcountry when she’s not working is to take her Dad to concerts. There’s nothing like sharing live music with a loved one. Molly and her Dad have an appreciation for the musical arts, along with their passion for sports and building… a true Renaissance family!

As Director of Communications at Reclamation By Design (RBD), Meg is a driving force in shaping the company’s visibility, reputation, and success across the Lowcountry. From groundbreaking ceremonies to grand openings, Meg is at the forefront of RBD’s most notable creations. Her passion for showcasing the company’s work shines in multi-use projects like Bluffton BBQ, Garden Gate, Captain Woody’s, and RBD’s own home office, all located in the charming Calhoun Street Promenade in Old Town Bluffton. Meg is excited to carry forward the tradition of excellence that defines Reclamation By Design.
Beyond her professional role, Meg is deeply connected to the Lowcountry lifestyle she loves. Whether enjoying boat trips to Daufuskie Island, exploring Charleston’s rich culture, shopping and dining in Beaufort, or sipping wine with friends in Bluffton, she embraces the region’s unique charm.
NICK STRIMPFEL, Director of Sales
As a Project Manager at Reclamation By Design (RBD), Nick brings a wealth of first-hand experience and industry knowledge to every project. Since joining the family business in 2010, Nick has immersed himself in all aspects of construction, learning from the ground up. From digging ditches and cleaning job sites to mastering interior trim, siding, and finish work, Nick has honed the skills and insights necessary to build exceptional custom homes that meet RBD’s high standards.
Outside of work, Nick shares his family’s passion for sports and enjoys staying active. You might find him at the gym, the bowling alley, hitting the golf course on sunny days or fishing off the Calhoun street dock with his sons.
BO STRIMPFEL, Chief Operating Officer | Licensed Contractor
As CEO of Reclamation By Design (RBD), Bo combines hands-on experience with strategic leadership to oversee the seamless execution of custom home projects. Since joining the family business in 2012, Bo has worked his way up from an eager go-fer to a pivotal leadership role, gaining deep expertise in every phase of construction along the way. His journey has included roles as a trim carpenter, foundation supervisor, and schedule coordinator, giving him a comprehensive understanding of what it takes to bring each project to life.
Bo’s passion lies in problem-solving. “I love tackling the constant stream of challenges that arise,” he says. “No two are ever the same, and finding creative solutions is where I find joy in my day.” As CEO, Bo manages crews and supervises subcontractors, ensuring that every project meets RBD’s uncompromising standards. From breaking ground to final inspections, Bo’s leadership ensures that each custom home reflects the craftsmanship and attention to detail RBD is known for..
When he’s not on the job site or in the office, Bo is out enjoying the Lowcountry lifestyle. He loves boating on the May River, exploring sandbars, fishing, and shrimping. He also enjoys playing golf and softball, making the most of his downtime with friends and family.

His hands-on approach, attention to detail and dedication to the art of fine craftsmanship have earned him a place among the Lowcountry's premier custom home builders.
